Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and manage programs for employee orientation, onboarding, training, and development
- Create, update and enforce employment policies and procedures
- Coordinate recruitment processes and ensure compliance with legal standards
- Develop and lead programs focused on employee engagement, cultural initiatives, and performance management
- Manage employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions
- Monitor employee attendance and compliance with company policies
- Serve as a resource for employees on benefits and other issues
- Develop and manage the organization’s staffing budget
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws
Work Hours and Benefits:
This position is full-time and will require occasional evening and weekend work. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation and holidays, health, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Demonstrated knowledge of labor laws, employment practices, and compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Training and Education:
Prior experience with HR software, such as Applicant Tracking Systems, is preferred. Candidates with professional HR certifications, such as PHR/SHRM-CP or SPHR/SHRM-SCP, will be given preference.
