Job Description
Working as a Cardiac Sonographer in Charleston, SC
There are 31 Cardiac Sonographer opportunities available in Charleston, SC all with unique requirements.
The Cardiac Sonographer is primarily responsible for performing diagnostic procedures on the heart and surrounding blood vessels, using an ultrasound coronary scanner to obtain real-time pictures of the heart. Sonographers take ultrasounds of the heart muscle and blood flow. They use an instrument called a transducer that sends high-frequency sound waves into the patient's body, bouncing off organs, blood vessels, and other structures. Digital display monitors receive these waves and translate them into visual images for examination by sonographers and cardiologists.
