Some properties are in residential areas, but most are in industrial or commercial areas. Job duties may include assisting with cooking and cleaning and limited assistance with grocery shopping for families; providing routine household maintenance services such as changing furnace air filters, cleaning light fixtures, cleaning refrigerator coils, mopping floors, etc.; and collecting rent from the tenants. The majority of work activities are outside of the home in communal areas and vacant dwellings.
