Working as a Video Engineer in Townsville, QLD

A Video Engineer creates and edits audio/visual recordings (film, video, etc.) by combining various images and sounds into a final product. Video Engineers may work on set with the media documentarians to live-feed video to a broadcast truck while the event is still in progress. They may oversee a studio camera operator using equipment like robotic cameras to create 360 degree visual recordings of events. Depending on the video services company they work for, Video Engineers may create visual recordings from personal footage (e.g. a family vacation), professionally shot footage (e.g. an event or stage show), or both.
